Much like this blog, Deerhunter is back and not a moment too soon. Bradford Cox has always had an immense stage presence that hasn’t always translated to their studio work, but it’s on full display both in the song and video. Combine the snarling vocals with the funk bass/drum groove (from Josh McKay and Moses Achulet, respectively) that drive this tune, and you have a surprisingly danceable and engaging single from Deerhunter’s upcoming album Fading Frontier.
