Wow. The first 50 seconds of the latest single from Mackenzie Scott starts innocently enough before erupting into a chunky guitar-filled rocker that has all of the subtlety of a sledgehammer on the listeners ears. It’s an edge that Scott wears very well, even when her voice becomes increasingly intense by the end of the song. If the rest of her sophomore release Sprinter sounds anything like this, it should be quite the treat. Look for Sprinter to be released on May 5.
